12 States Have Filed Volume 1 of BEAD Initial Proposals
September 18, 2023
Delaware, Kansas, Louisiana, Montana, Nebraska, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, and Wyoming have released their initial proposals.
Maine has been one of the states that has a well-established broadband grant program, and it's well positioned to land and defend its share of federal broadband grant funding.
Maine's Connectivity Authority has made sure that it coordinates closely with local communities so that it has its ears to the ground in terms of their broadband needs.
So it's not surprising that it is encouraging its residents to take broadband speed tests to help figure out local communities' needs
